LANCASTER, Pa., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Herley Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: HRLY) reported today that its subsidiary, Micro Systems, Inc. based in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida provided the avionics suite used by Composite Engineering Inc. (CEi) in the successful flight demonstration of their newest unmanned aerial target system, the BQM-167X. Mugu Test Range on January 31, 2008 as part of a demonstration contract awarded to CEi by the US Navy in September of 2006 for an advanced high performance aerial target system capable of very high subsonic low altitude performance.
