Employees of Micro Systems and their families enjoyed our annual picnic on May 16 at the beach on Okaloosa Island. BP Oil and Mother Nature both tried to scare us off but it didn’t work. Our beaches are still absolutely beautiful and completely oil free. Even the rain around NW Florida that day stayed away from our spot on the beach and we had a great time playing volleyball & bongo ball. The younger crowd demonstrated their agility on boogie-boards and the light wind was perfect for flying kites. Apparently someone told Mark B. & Willie T. to ‘go fly a kite’ so they were happy to provide expert instructions to all the youngsters on the proper techniques. Food and beverages were plentiful and several of us decided to really use the atmosphere to kick back, relax and enjoy a peaceful day on the beach. All that and not one person got a sunburn this year.
