The Micro Systems, Inc Model FTTS-P-8 Flight Termination Test Set is an 8 tone portable test set used for flight-line checkout of Flight Termination receivers. The Test Set accepts a universal AC power input and generates a modulated Wideband FM output suitable for interrogation of flight termination receivers.
Internally generated IRIG standard command tone frequencies modulate the synthesized RF carrier to produce a 0dBm RF output. The IRIG tones can be switched on or off independently from the control panel.
The FTTS-P-8 is supplied with an AC power cord, UHF Whip antenna, and 6 foot RF cable. Power ON/OFF switch, indicator lamps and tone control switches are all located on the control panel.
