Micro Systems, Inc Model AN/DSQ-50A is a high performance, pulsed Doppler miss distance sensor. It is installed in the target vehicle (air or sea surface) and detects when a missile passes within the sensor range. The sensor information is transmitted to the ground by a cost effective datalink.
